This Privacy Policy explains how MANAGAIR, LLC ("ManagAir," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the ManagAir application and related services (the "Service"). It should be read alongside our [Terms and Conditions].
a. Account Information Name, email address, and password (or authentication credentials) when you register.
b. Aircraft and Operational Data You Provide Data you enter into the Service, including but not limited to:
Aircraft details (tail number, make/model, hobbs/tach times)
Flight logbook entries (dates, routes, pilots, flight times)
Maintenance items and squawks
Cost calculator inputs and expense records
Calendar events
Documents you upload (e.g., logbooks, manuals, certificates, receipts)
c. Payment Information Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not directly store your full credit card number; Stripe handles and stores payment card data under its own privacy and security practices. We receive limited billing metadata (e.g., subscription status, last 4 digits of card, billing history) from Stripe.
d. Usage and Analytics Data Our application platform, Base44, collects usage analytics about how the Service is used (e.g., feature usage, session activity, error logs) to help us understand and improve the product.
e. Receipt and Document Scanning ("Auto Scan Receipt") When you use the Auto Scan Receipt feature, your uploaded receipt image or PDF is processed through Base44's built-in AI-powered document extraction service, which reads the file and extracts fields (e.g., vendor name, invoice date, line items) to help populate your expense entries automatically. This processing happens as part of Base44's platform infrastructure, the same provider already disclosed below as our hosting/application platform, rather than through a separate third-party OCR tool we integrate ourselves.
e. Device and Log Information Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device information may be collected automatically as part of normal web application operation.
We use collected information to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (e.g., displaying your logbook, calculating maintenance due dates)
Process subscription payments
Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or new features (founder-sent emails)
Improve and troubleshoot the Service, including diagnosing bugs
Enforce our Terms and Conditions and protect against fraud or misuse
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information only in the following circumstances:
a. Service Providers (Subprocessors)
Base44: the no-code platform that hosts and powers the ManagAir application, including data storage, usage analytics, and AI-powered document extraction (used by the Auto Scan Receipt feature to read uploaded receipts/PDFs).
Stripe: payment processing.
Google (Sheets/Drive): an internal administrative sync exports application data to a connected Google Sheet for our own business operations (e.g., reporting, reconciliation). This is separate from any aircraft-sharing feature between users.
Whatsapp: An interactive assistant for the user to create, modify, or delete information in the Mangair app.
b. Between Users (Aircraft Sharing) If you use the aircraft-sharing feature, data associated with a shared aircraft (logbook entries, maintenance, squawks, etc.) becomes visible to users you've explicitly granted access to. You control who you share with.
c. Legal Requirements We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ManagAir, our users, or the public.
d. Business Transfers If ManagAir is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy (or a successor policy with comparable protections).
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and, following account closure, for a limited period of 30 days post cancellation to allow data export and to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is deleted.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, relying in part on the security practices of our infrastructure provider (Base44) and payment processor (Stripe). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and associated personal information
Export/port your data (flight logs, maintenance records, etc.) in a usable format
Opt out of non-essential marketing emails (transactional/account emails will still be sent)

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.
Our landing page (built on Google Sites) may use cookies or similar tracking as part of Google's own platform functionality. At present, no dedicated third-party analytics/ad tracking has been added beyond what Google Sites or Base44 provide natively.
The Service is intended for use within the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
